1. Tyee Rule- To support the big chinook gene pool on the BC coast, we strongly encourage fish over 30 pounds to be released. A released Chinook over 30lbs will take priority rank over one of equal or larger size that has been retained. Chinook over 30 pounds can be measured then released and entered via video. Details about how to accurately measure and document your fish will be available. The below salmon weight calculations and graph will be used to determine weight by all anglers.
